Trustee Training

Many trustees identify investment as an area where further training is desirable. Who can provide this training? Fund managers? Existing investment consultants? With neither the inherent conflict of the fund manager, nor the significant overheads of the main consulting firms, I can deliver broad based and tailored training sessions to full boards, new trustees or investment sub-committees.

Any training session can be tailored to the needs of the individual trustees. These can either be at a basic level or more advanced, and can include any of the following modules:

  • Assessment of liabilities

  • Strategic planning

  • Asset liability modelling and Value at Risk

  • Matching liabilities and LDI

  • Understanding asset classes

  • Active and passive management

  • Longevity and annuities

Again these sessions can be delivered in a number of ways: as part of a regular meeting or at a specific training session. A discussion of your needs will enable the most appropriate session to be put together
